As part of the redesign of the packaging for three SKUs - three slice packs - we have developed a modern and appealing design concept. The aim is to emphasise the Bergader umbrella brand and clearly differentiate it from the competition.
Creative names for product lines
The new product lines are given memorable, creative names with a spark of humour and a wink. These are positioned in the information hierarchy under the umbrella of the Bergader brand, without using sub-brands. This creates a clear and consistent brand identity. The product names form the core of the design.
Design approach
The design is characterised by a bold, upbeat aesthetic that combines vibrant colours and playful graphics. A modern font creates a dynamic look, while a minimalist approach avoids unnecessary information and clearly emphasises the central elements. Bold design elements and creative arrangements create a "wow" effect that arouses customers' curiosity.
Brand identity
The Bergader logo is prominently placed to ensure recognisability. The new brand umbrella gives the products a strong brand bracket. The statement "Quality from a Bavarian family business" is integrated to emphasise tradition and trustworthiness without detracting from the modern appearance.
Shelf presence
The packaging is designed in such a way that it stands out on the self-service shelf with its striking colours and shapes and attracts the attention of shoppers.
Conclusion
