Team Munich

I have been passionate about packaging for 30 years. Sustainable packaging that gets to the heart of the product and brand is my daily challenge. Starting in an office with design icons like LABELLO and PHILADELPHIA, I later worked for WINDI WINDERLICH and SOLUTIONS. Along the way, I built up our current office in Munich, which I rebranded as PACOON with Peter Désilets in 2012 and have been leading with pride and passion ever since.

After an internship in packaging, marketing and sales stations at Granini, Bongrain (today Savencia) and Galbani, I started my own business in 2001. In 2006 I started in Munich and support clients in terms of brand strategy and since 2008 as a pioneer with a strong focus on sustainability. Innovation and differentiation are always my motivation with the goal of making something better every day: for example, our world.

I already developed a keen sense of aesthetics and design during my school years. I think it's particularly exciting how brands communicate their values through product packaging. As a project manager, I accompany and advise our clients in the conception and development of new packaging designs and sustainable materials. In doing so, I draw on my interdisciplinary knowledge as an oecotrophologist.

After studying in Munich and London (BA Visual Communication, Illustration), I have been working in packaging design since 2006 and at PACOON as Senior Art Director since 2012. And I am still captivated by the magic of packaging. Which can enchant in seconds on the shelf. By the versatility and the ever new challenges.

I'm a passionate designer and a real northern light! Always true to packaging design but just as much a fan of branding, illustration, typography and web design. I love the challenge of going above and beyond and making something special out of the mundane. To bring the essential points intelligently and aesthetically to the point & therefore create a packaging that works and touches people.

My career as a graphic designer started in 2011 in sunny Lisbon. After working for a few years in typography, branding, illustration and editorial, I discovered my true passion, packaging design. More exciting than thinking outside the box is moving out of the box. Only then can you approach every single project differently.

What appeals to me about packaging design is that the mostly three-dimensional results of my work are long-lasting and have a great everyday presence, that typography does its part to ensure good readability of both informal and legally relevant texts - often also multilingual, Cyrillic/Eastern European...

In addition to the three-dimensionality, the aspect of the everyday occurance appeals to me in packaging and I enjoy sensitively implementing our customers' ideas with design expertise. As a junior art director and final artist, I am part of the entire process from the first customer contact to the design and final print preparation.

After an internship in packaging, marketing and sales stations at Granini, Bongrain (today Savencia) and Galbani, I started my own business in 2001. I have been passionate about packaging for 30 years. Sustainable packaging that gets to the heart of the product and brand is my daily challenge. Along the way, I built up our current office in Munich, which I rebranded as PACOON with Peter Désilets in 2012 and have been leading with pride and passion ever since.

Learned at the packaging manufacturer, studied 'Packaging' in Berlin, got to know all types of packaging and associated packaging machines at AGFA, was European Technical Key Account for a multinational carton and folding carton manufacturer, and managed projects in almost all industries as a packaging consultant. Now my full attention and passion is dedicated to making your packaging, and thereby your business, more sustainable and better. Sustainability by conviction.

As an engineer for plastics technology and packaging, I support PSC in the development of new packaging concepts and in researching sustainable innovative packaging solutions. This allows me to live sustainability not only in my private life, but also to realize it in my work with the help of Pacoon.

I have been studying packaging technology and sustainability at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich for 5 semesters. Nature has been very important to me from a very young age. That makes it all the more exciting for me to be involved in a company that combines my personal interests in sustainability and design. In my 4.5 months of internship at PACOON, I want to gain as much experience as possible and get a first impression of the packaging industry.
