What is a brief, why is an agency brief so important for a new design project, and why should you take the time to create a clean and comprehensive brief for your agency?
A good agency briefing is the basis for a successful packaging design, whether you want to implement a line extension, launch a new range or give an existing product or your company a contemporary look. At the beginning, you should ask yourself the essential questions that will determine the success or failure of your product or your company. After all, a pretty design alone does not guarantee market success. There are many examples where packaging designs won awards but were no longer on the market after a short time. Or where everyone in the company liked the graphic design, but unfortunately only a few customers were convinced and encouraged to buy the product. These are often the consequences of a poor briefing of a company for the hired agency. A briefing helps you to orientate yourself again and again to your goals, not to the personal taste of individuals, which the broad consumer base does not share.
