Logo design gives your brand a character
Every well-known brand has it, its own logo. At PACOON, we know what's important in logo design and what you need to pay attention to. The brand logo is on the highest hierarchical level of a company's appearance. And we are happy to help you successfully develop your own brand logo.
Logos consist of text and images to represent a brand and help people recognize it. It is also commonly referred to as word marks, image marks, and word-image marks, which means logos that consist of words or type only, or a combination of words and images or symbols. A logo embodies the brand name (see also Naming), is part of the brand strategy and in the brand architecture of the packaging design or the business appearance on the highest hierarchical level. A good brand logo is therefore of the highest priority for your business and brand success.
The logo design aims to communicate the brands promise, differentiation from the competition. It also allows them to stand out, be unique and recognizable. It embodies the value and often zeitgeist of the brand and must still be recognizable even in a very small form. No logo, no marketing, it's as simple as that. Try to see if your logo is still recognizable on the fingernail of your little finger? Optimally, you can already recognize the brand by the image brand, but until then you will have to invest a lot of time and money in building your brand awareness.
Consider in advance where the logo will be used. There's a big difference between whether you want the logo to be incorporated into advertising, your stationery or packaging design, and whether you want it to work primarily on the web or in print. If you need a logo for your packaging, we always recommend to create an off-pack version for advertisements, the online store, a promotional campaign in retail or your Power-Point presentation. For this, the logo can also vary slightly because it needs to look small and compact.
Typical components of a logo are the typo, consisting of letters that can include an abbreviation or the full name. Often, the logo is accompanied by an image that stands as a symbol for the brand, such as a red bull on a particular energy drink. This image or symbol can also give the brand logo a specific shape. Even letters can form such an image. The color of the logo is also important, as it can make a significant contribution to recognition. Think of a purple chocolate or a red soft drink. It's not for nothing that the colors of both brands are included in trademark protection.
Brand logos can also vary depending on where and how they are used. It is important to have some consistency in the environment where the brand logo appears. Think of a search engine on the Internet, where the logo is redesigned daily. As a corporate logo, on the other hand, the logo always remains the same.
