Unfortunately, we had to cancel the SOLPACK 5.0 – International Conference for Sustainable Packaging – with a heavy heart due to too few paying participants. SOLPACK is thus not an isolated case for events in 2023, but as creatives we very quickly found and organized an alternative:
The SOmmer PArty 2023 (engl. Summer Party) with business partners, customers, colleagues and partners. For this purpose, we used the planned evening location of SOLPACK, which could no longer be canceled. But this also had its extremely nice sides.
Within one week we planned without further ado the SO PA 2023 above the roofs of Munich on the roof terrace of the MH5 in the hip Werksviertel. With a relaxed atmosphere, delicious burgers, salads, breads and spreads from our customer Hofpfisterei and chilled drinks, the evening was used for networking, relaxed exchange and celebrating in colorful company... because there were plenty of reasons for PACOON anyway: the upcoming midsummer, 5 years of PACOON HAMBURG, 15 years of PACOON Sustainability, 20 years of PACOON MUNICH, fantastic weather, the meeting of many familiar faces, and so on. 100 festive people showed up and made the evening a nice event.
Even the light show in the context of a lightning storm at a late hour became a photographic highlight from the 6th floor. And those who couldn't get to sleep could relax and "count sheep".
An all-around successful evening, where also first ideas were born how the exciting and inspiring program contents of SOLPACK 5.0 can be shared and advanced in the industry. Therefore, we are sad about the cancellation of SOLPACK, but look very positively at the options to advance sustainability with our network and expertise. Let us surprise you!
